ESG
What is ESG?
ESG is an acronym for "environmental, social, and governance" that typically refers to an organization's priorities or reporting standards. It has become a catch-all for metrics tracking an organization's performance relative to a broad spectrum of priorities ranging from carbon footprint to the diversity of its leadership. The surge in ESG investing has come with demands for sustainability disclosures by investors as well as greater scrutiny by regulators.
