Satellite Broadband
What is satellite broadband?
Satellite broadband is the use of satellite constellations to transmit high-speed broadband internet to user terminals as a commercial service. These constellations typically use low- and medium-Earth orbit satellites (LEO/MEO), which enable higher internet speeds and low latency. Satellite broadband is particularly valuable in rural or remote areas where high-speed internet is unavailable or prohibitively expensive.
