What is process mining?

Process mining is the practice of analyzing enterprise processes to discover and map how work is actually done. Automated process mining uses technology to scan enterprise systems and conduct the process analysis, rather than using workshops and interviews. The goal is often to map enterprise processes in order to automate them.
