Fixed wireless access (FWA) is a high-speed wireless alternative to traditional wired broadband that uses cellular technologies to bridge last-mile connections, typically broadcasting from a tower to a rooftop antenna. FWA generally presumes that users are in a fixed location such as a home or office.
