What is CCPA?

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) requires certain companies doing business in California (based on annual gross revenue, number of consumers or devices handled, or majority of revenue derived from selling consumer data) comply with rules governing how they collect, manage, and use personal data, both online and offline. For instance, California consumers have the right to know what is being collected, opt out of personal data being sold, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising their rights.
