Air Taxis
What are air taxis?
Air taxis typically refer to electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicles meant to transport passengers and packages in urban environments. They represent another evolution of ride-hailing that could solve particular needs such as medical transport, courier services, and airport commutes. Commercial use will likely begin with package delivery before transporting human passengers. While air taxi flights will begin with human pilots, industry watchers expect autonomous flights within 5 years.
